RENACER is the debut single of a fresh collaboration between two
Chilean artists Vanessa Estrada (singer/song-writer) and Oscar Poncell (co-writer/, producer, both residing in Melbourne. They have come together to premiere new music as an independent release.

The single "Renacer" (Born again or Re-born), is a fusion of Latin American folk with a tinge of contemporary electronic music production. The two creators deliberate intent to explore sounds inspired by artists such as Chancha Via Circuito, Nicola Cruz, Novalima, Inti-illimani, Illapu and Bomba Estereo, has culminated in a groovy Cumbia-esc beat and Bolivian Saya using traditional instruments, including Charango, Venezuelan Cuatro, Andean Quena and Latin percussion instruments such as Cajon, Tambora and Alegre.
The lyrics centre around the feeling of undergoing a spiritual change, trusting the universe with all of its stars, leaving all fears and traumas behind, believing in yourself again and connecting with your own spirituality and power by returning to nature and seeing the beauty around us, we come home to our roots and our origins. There is an empowering message in this song for all people and most importantly for those out there that may be going through some difficult times in their lives.

The song climaxes in a festive and uplifting chorus with brilliant performances by all musicians featured on the recording, including: Emiliano Beltzer (Double Bass), Michel Bestrin (Quena, Flute, Snares), Cristian Saavedra (Tambora, Alegre, Cajon), Vanessa Estrada (Vocals, Charango, Venezuelan Cuatro) and Oscar Poncell (Guitar, Beats).
